4/27 @11am Day 27 -  Someone you love

1 John 3:1 See what kind of love the Father has given to us, that we should be called children of God; and so we are. The reason why the world does not know us is that it did not know him.

No greater love do I have, then for my wonderful Papa in Heaven. His mercy is too great, his hands have guided me into a life full of blessings I do not deserve, his Son has given me the greatest gift I can ask for…

1 Peter 5:6-7  Humble yourselves, therefore, under the mighty hand of God so that at the proper time he may exalt you,  casting all your anxieties on him, because he cares for you.

I’m sorry Olivia Wilde, my drawings can do your beauty no justice! T_T (Although I have to say, I’m quite pleased with how this totally different style of mine came out. :O) Yes, she is my celebrity crush. No, we are not a couple. BUT THIS IS MY TUMBLR SO I CAN PRETEND DAMN IT!

Day 12 - Most Recent Accomplishment:

I bought a car. Ever since my PC purchase back in July/August, I had been saving up every peso possible for this very purchase. Although University and Christmas took afatchunk out of my wallet, I was blessed with enough work for the past half year that I had enough saved fora used car. Initially I had about $2500 to buy the cheapest thing with 4 wheels I could get, however, things changed.

Because of our current situation, homeless and carless, we had to switch things up a bit. You can’t find a house if you don’t have a car, and you really shouldn’t buy a car when you’re buying a house (credit, mortgage, or some crap like that). We rented a car for the first 2 weeks, and then my aunt lent us hers for another week or so, but we needed to do something. So my dad eventually decided it would be best for us to get a car together, one that would work as a family car initially, but once we had a home, would become mine (and he would buy the real family car later). So after some initial finds, on Saturday we found this little hatchback at a VW’s dealership. A used car for $8.8k was initially way out of my mind, but after nearly going for a car at $6.5k, we realized that after fees and everything, this Suzuki was the better deal. It was in near perfect conditions, inside and out. It actually *smells* new. The engine was clean, sounded fine, but the real kicker was the fact it had under 35K miles.

(not actual photos of my car, I haven’t taken pics, but it looks just like that. It is silver too)

No other used car even came close to that, we had seen a few at 60/70k, and plenty in the 90’s - 100’s, so we got it. Now, we paid cash for the car, to avoid affecting my dad’s credit for the future house purchase. The way this worked out was we wrote a check from my account for $1850 (my down payment ;P 21% of the car), with $5k put on my mom’s credit card, and the rest paid in actual dollars.

I  which at the moment would be another $7k. Within the next month I should be able to put down another $2k, which will bring me up to 43.5% complete. Hopefully by the end of this month/start of the next we will have our own house, which will then allow for my dad to get his own car, and eventually, around the time I pass the 50% barrier, I can finally claim the car fully as my own. :D It wasn’t a Corvette (we saw some used stingrays for $9.9k T_T), nor was it a Lancer, Mazda 3/6, Mustang like I was originally hoping for, but it’s a nice car nonetheless, and it’s my car, therefore it is awesome. Gotta thank God for all the financial blessing he has brought to my life this past year that has permitted for this little dream to finally come true.

4/11 @16pm Day 11 - Turning point in your life
My life is relatively boring, but I suppose the biggest turning point(s) in my life would be moving out of (and then back into, after 5 years) the United States.
